Racket Fury: Table Tennis VR is a ping pong game for Meta Quest with a 16-opponent career, online ranked matches and arcade or simulation physics.
Racket Fury: Table Tennis VR is a sports game from Pixel Edge Games that puts you at a table tennis table with a paddle in your hand. The studio says it wrote its own physics engine and tuned it together with professional table tennis players, so that shots follow your real arm movement closely. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since May 21, 2019.
How it plays
The single-player career has you work through 16 opponents spread across a series of cups, and every cup is tougher than the one before. You can choose an arcade mode, which is more forgiving and playful, or a simulation mode that stays closer to the real sport.
- A single-player campaign against 16 opponents.
- Arcade and simulation physics modes.
- Five venues, each playable by day or at night.
- Opponent animations built from motion capture data.
Multiplayer
Online matches let you take on players from other countries, and the results count toward an online ranking. The store page does not mention cross-play or private rooms.
Comfort
Meta rates Racket Fury as comfortable for most people. It supports sitting and standing play with controllers. Table tennis needs only a small space, but leave enough room to swing your arm freely without hitting furniture.
