Bionic Hunter : The Ancient Sword is an open-world sci-fi survival shooter with action and strategy elements from ANOMOS STUDIOS. Played in first person, it has a story and missions in which you hunt monsters, bring down huge giants and upgrade your gear. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on December 21, 2021.
How it plays
You use your weapons alongside small friendly robots and drones, and finishing missions unlocks new functions that help you last longer. The store page lists:
- 16 sci-fi weapons, plus a bow, a sword, punches and other melee attacks.
- Dual wielding and hand rockets.
- 30 giant monsters across 4 very large open-world maps.
- Climbing and plenty of power-ups.
- Worldwide leaderboards.

Comfort
Meta rates Bionic Hunter as comfortable for most people. You can choose free movement or teleport, and snap or smooth turning, so adjust the comfort settings to suit you. The game supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers.
