Realms of Flow

Realms of Flow is a meditation and relaxation app in the fitness and health category from EpicScapes. It puts you inside high-framerate, stereoscopic 180-degree video scenes and layers interactive relaxation tools on top, with the aim of helping you slow down and settle your mind. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on June 18, 2023.

What you can do

You pick from several experiences, each with its own scenery, mood and narrated meditation. The developer says the app is less about step-by-step voice instruction and more about short cinematic journeys with a poetic tone.

A Session Timing menu lets you decide when each guide element starts and how long it runs:

Every feature has its own settings. The breathing tempo, for example, can stay at a fixed pace you choose, or it can follow the movement of your hand or belly, which then drives the focus object in front of you.

Comfort

Meta rates Realms of Flow as comfortable for most people. It is played in seated mode only, and you can use Touch controllers. Since the scenes are built on 180-degree video, you stay in one place and look around rather than travel through the world.
