Jurassic World 2024 is a free media and video app from Felix & Paul Studios that bundles two short VR experiences set in the Jurassic World universe. Both put you close to living dinosaurs. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on October 15, 2024.
What you can do
- Jurassic World: Apatosaurus places you right beside a giant Apatosaurus. The aim is to make you feel what it is like to stand near a living dinosaur and connect with it, with all the wonder and risk that brings.
- Jurassic World: BLUE follows Blue, a clever Velociraptor, on Isla Nublar as a natural disaster threatens the island. You share her sharp senses as she searches for food and water, looks for signs of life and fights off dangerous predators.
The store page calls both pieces VR experiences and does not list running times. Expect to watch and look around rather than play, and since the app is free, it is an easy one to try.
Comfort
Meta rates Jurassic World 2024 as comfortable for most people. It supports seated and standing play, and you can use Touch controllers. The age rating is 12+, and BLUE includes clashes with predators.
