Dungeons of Eternity Makes Stormgrave Permanent in Monster Mash Update is an update released by Othergate on November 1, 2026. It keeps the Stormgrave realm in the VR co-op dungeon game permanently and adds new enemies, chambers, trading, teammate rescues, inventory tools and Halloween content.
Stormgrave and Deadwood Forest expand the dungeons
Stormgrave now has its own chambers and music. Rain and lightning define the realm, which also contains a vampire miniboss. Othergate has not given Stormgrave an end date because it is now a permanent addition.
The update adds Deadwood Forest chambers with bare trees, graves and tombs. The lobby and main menu receive matching Deadwood Forest changes. Keep layouts also gain several new chamber variants, adding more gothic spaces to dungeon runs.
Other realms receive new threats. Mummies can curse explorers in Sandstorm, replacing its zombies. Pumpkin-headed skeletons chase players before exploding into smaller bombs, also described as cluster bombs. These enemies belong to the update, not the separate paid Halloween Cosmetics Bundle.
Co-op tools change preparation and recovery
Players can trade weapons and gold in the outpost's Vendor area. The feature gives groups another way to share equipment between dungeon runs. A new teleporter connects the Vendor area with the Crypt, shortening travel across the outpost.
During co-op runs, teammates can pull players out of pits. The update also reorganises the inventory, adds weapon sorting and introduces a potion chest for storing supplies between runs. Othergate says it improved stabbing and made further weapon and stability changes.
Halloween rewards have different terms
Returning Halloween items remain available until November 15, 2026. Players receive a one-, two- or three-year trophy in their room based on how long they have played. The reward marks Dungeons of Eternity's third birthday.
The optional Halloween Cosmetics Bundle costs $6.99. It includes themed headpieces, accent colours and wing cosmetics. The bundle is separate from Stormgrave, the new enemies, chamber additions and co-op features, so those gameplay changes do not require the cosmetic pack.
Dungeons of Eternity is available on Meta Quest and Steam for PC VR. The game is a VR fantasy action and adventure title built around sword combat, thrown axes, bows, magic staffs and co-operative dungeon runs. Steam lists 85% of 40 user reviews from the last 30 days as positive, while 90% of 964 total user reviews are positive.
