Racing is one of the genres where VR makes a clear practical difference. Sitting inside the car at true scale, you can turn your head toward the apex of a corner, check mirrors naturally and judge braking points with real depth perception.
Most VR racing is played seated with a gamepad or a steering wheel and pedals; motion controllers are less common. Some racing games are flat-screen titles that offer a full VR mode, while others are built for VR from the start.
