AWE USA (Augmented World Expo) is one of the largest annual conferences and expos for augmented reality, virtual reality and spatial computing. The 18th edition, AWE USA 2027, takes place from June 14 to 17, 2027, at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
The 2027 theme is "I, Spatial: Humans Empowered by Spatial AI", which reflects the event's growing focus on the overlap between AI and XR hardware such as smart glasses and headsets.
The organizer expects the following (its own figures):
- More than 5,000 attendees
- More than 250 exhibitors
- More than 400 speakers
- An expo floor of more than 150,000 square feet
AWE USA is aimed at XR developers, startups, enterprise buyers, investors and hardware makers. It combines a conference program with a large expo floor where companies show their AR and VR hardware, software and services. The 2027 speaker list, exhibitor list and agenda had not been published at the time of writing. Hotel blocks near the convention center and registration are available through the official AWE site.
