Firesprite is a game studio in Liverpool, United Kingdom, founded in 2012. Sony Interactive Entertainment acquired it in September 2021.
The studio has a long history with PlayStation hardware. It made The Playroom, the augmented reality showcase for the PS4 camera, and the VR horror game The Persistence. It then co-developed Horizon Call of the Mountain with Guerrilla for the launch of PlayStation VR2 in 2023.
Firesprite went through layoffs in early 2024. Its upcoming projects include Until Dawn 2.
