PAYDAY: Aces High Launches November 5 on Quest, SteamVR and Steam Frame for $24.99

The first PAYDAY game built for VR now has a release date. On October 19, 2026, Fast Travel Games announced in an official press release that PAYDAY: Aces High launches on November 5 for $24.99 on Meta Quest, SteamVR and Steam Frame. The Stockholm studio makes the game under license from Starbreeze Entertainment, which owns the PAYDAY series.

What kind of game it is

Aces High is a co-op heist shooter for crews of up to four. Players plan each job, choose loadouts and decide whether to go in quietly or loudly, using assault rifles, SMGs, shotguns and pistols alongside gadgets such as a grapple and sentry guns. Cash and reputation earned on heists unlock new skills and gear. The story has the crew framed by a business tycoon named Warren Jupiter, and players take on the role of one of four "Aces": Hearts, the Mastermind; Clubs, the Ghost; Diamonds, the Technician; and Spades, the Enforcer.

At Connect 2026, Meta confirmed that the Quest 3 and 3S version supports cross-play with PC VR players.

Playtest and demo

A final playtest ran from October 19 to 26 on Quest and on Steam, where a demo was also part of Steam Next Fest. Everyone who joined gets an exclusive Kitty Mask in the full game at launch.

What it means for players

At $24.99, Aces High is priced below many full-size VR releases, and cross-play means Quest and PC VR friends can heist together. Steam buyers get the PC VR version and a native version for Valve's standalone Steam Frame, according to Road to VR. Quest players will find it on the Meta Horizon Store and PC VR players on Steam.
