VR Store Simulator is a Quest management game where you design and run a supermarket, serve customers, keep the floor clean and take out bank loans.
VR Store Simulator is a simulation and strategy game from K&K Studio in which you run your own supermarket. The developer pitches it as the most chaotic day job in VR. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on November 20, 2024.
How it plays
You design the store, keep customers happy and work your way up as a manager. You can customize displays, products and even the layout of the shop. Customers react to how quickly and accurately you serve them, so speed at the till matters as much as a tidy shelf.
The bank loan and cleaning update added more to manage:
- Cleaning: dirt builds up with customer traffic and your own movement, and a dirty store draws fewer customers
- Bank loans: loans of different sizes unlock at set XP levels and are repaid automatically each night with a small interest fee
- Theft: boxes left outside may tempt a prisoner into stealing them, and you have to catch him to get your goods back
The same update also fixed various bugs.
Comfort
Meta rates VR Store Simulator comfortable for most people. You can play sitting, standing or room-scale with controllers.
