Dungeons of Eternity is a cooperative fantasy hack-and-slash action-adventure dungeon crawler developed by Othergate. Launched on Meta Quest in October 2023 and later expanded to SteamVR with full cross-play, it combines physics-based melee and ranged combat with procedurally generated dungeons for one to four players.
How it plays
After cosmic cataclysm shatters the homeworld of Eternity, players teleport down from their orbital Outpost into procedural labyrinths, frozen caverns, and ancient crypts. Combat is built around physical VR interactions: you swing swords, throw axes that return to your hand, draw bows from over your shoulder, parry skeleton blades, and unleash magic staffs. Between runs, squads return to the Outpost to decrypt loot chests, forge weapons, customize armor cosmetics, and upgrade passive Exo perks.

- Procedural dungeon chambers: Hundreds of handcrafted chamber templates are stitched together dynamically across multiple biomes, including dark crypts, lava forges, and seasonal winter/ice sanctums.

Teammates can revive fallen allies, share healing potions, coordinate trap puzzles, and combine elemental ice or fire attacks against towering boss monsters, with cross-play linking standalone Quest headsets and PC VR players.
