Zoe

Zoe is a creativity app from Zoe Immersive for building interactive 3D scenes without writing code. It relies on templates and automation to speed things up, and you can invite friends, students, colleagues or clients into a project to create together. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since October 27, 2022.

What you can do

The developer says people have used Zoe to run activities, make learning games, build interactive stories and adventure games, and even create mini-games for therapy. You can also apply to become a Zoe content publisher and build mixed reality experiences.

The free version includes:

• Templates and ready-made environments.
• Creator tools.
• Over 350 built-in assets, plus more than a million free online assets through Sketchfab.
• Three projects, with three scenes in each.
• Unlimited interactions.
• Multiplayer for up to three members.

Multiplayer

Collaboration happens live, with everyone in a project able to work in it at the same time. The free version caps a group at three members, and the developer points to its website for ways to raise that limit.

Comfort

Meta rates Zoe as comfortable for most people. It supports seated, standing and room-scale use and works with controllers.
