Web-Guy is a multiplayer web-swinging game for Meta Quest where you fire physics-based webs, climb with a full body and hunt secrets and minigames with friends.
Web-Guy is a web-swinging action and adventure game developed by Rigged and published by Rigged Games. You fire webs from shooters on your wrists and swing through the world, either alone or with friends. It released on the Meta Horizon Store on November 10, 2022.
How it plays
Pulling the trigger launches a web that is fully simulated with physics, so you swing on momentum rather than along a set path. You also have a full physics body, which lets you climb surfaces and grab onto things, other players included.
- Physics-based web shooting and swinging
- A full physics body for climbing and grabbing
- Hidden secrets to find around the map
- Minigames to play
Most of the appeal is in the movement itself: learning how a web catches, how much speed you carry through a swing, and when to let go.
Multiplayer
Web-Guy is built for swinging around together. Players share the world online, can grab and hang onto each other thanks to the physics bodies, and play minigames as a group. You need an internet connection to play.
Comfort
Web-Guy supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers. Swinging means a lot of fast motion through the air, so if you are sensitive to motion sickness in VR, start with short sessions.
