Paradiddle

Paradiddle is a drumming simulation and rhythm game from Tanirgan Studios LLC, published by Emre Tanirgan. It combines a virtual drum kit you design yourself with lessons and a scored song mode, aimed at both experienced drummers and beginners. It reached the Meta Horizon Store on November 16, 2023.

How it plays

• Rhythm mode: 30 built-in songs with adjustable difficulty, custom song support and leaderboards shared across platforms.
• Kit builder: choose from more than 60 percussion instruments, from xylophone and steel drum to bongos, tambourine and timpani.
• Ten lessons aimed at people who have never drummed before.
• Four settings to play in: Dojo, Jazz Club, Galaxy and Void.
• Import your own songs, audio files and sheet music, save several kits and record your sessions.

Passthrough support lets you play virtual drums in your own room as mixed reality, and you can link a real kit to the lessons and rhythm mode. MIDI input and output turn it into a tool for composing or for extending an electronic kit, and kick and hi-hat pedals work over USB or Bluetooth.

Multiplayer

A multiplayer mode lets you play for friends in free play or compete with them for high scores on the included songs.

Comfort

Meta rates it comfortable for most people. The store lists support for playing sitting, standing or at room scale. You play with controllers.
