NOT ME

NOT ME is a co-op horror adventure game from BJstorm studio built around hidden identities. A group of explorers is stuck on a strange island, and some of the people in the group are not who they seem. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on February 2, 2023.

How it plays

The story starts with eight adventurers who set out to explore a mysterious island. A storm wrecks their ship, so they cannot sail home, and the plan becomes simple: search the island for supplies and fix the boat. Things go wrong quickly. The island is littered with bones and decaying remains, and werewolves have already killed two of the explorers and taken their place in the group.

That setup makes it a game of hide-and-seek and suspicion. The werewolves try to blend in with the surviving humans, while the humans have to work out who among them is a threat. The store page does not go into details such as round length, maps or how votes or accusations work, so expect to learn the rules in your first matches.

Multiplayer

Co-op is the only interaction mode the store lists, and the story is built around a group of eight, so this is a game to play with other people online rather than alone. An internet connection is required.

Comfort

Meta has not given NOT ME a comfort rating, and the store data lists no play modes such as sitting or standing. The only input listed is a gamepad, not Touch controllers, which is unusual for a Quest title. Check the store page before buying if you only play with the standard controllers.
