Mannequin

Mannequin is a free-to-play social hide-and-seek shooter from Fast Travel Games for up to five players. Two Agents track down Mannequins, shape-shifting aliens that hide by standing still among human statues. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on September 12, 2024.

How it plays

The setup is a global crisis: certain places have frozen in time and their people have become motionless statues. Special Agents are sent in to wipe out the aliens behind it before they become victims too.

• As a Mannequin, you use your headset and controllers to strike a pose and blend in with frozen first responders, then dash out and freeze an Agent with a single touch.
• As an Agent, you follow an EMF Reader toward hidden aliens and shoot them, but ammo is limited and hitting a human jams your gun, which leaves you open to attack.

Mannequins can also team up to take energy extractors, which reveal where the Agents are. The last team standing wins, so the action stays tense for both sides.

Multiplayer

Every match is online player versus player, with two Agents against the Mannequin team. Teamwork matters on both sides. The store also lists asynchronous multiplayer.

Comfort

Meta gives it a moderate comfort rating, so it suits some players more than others. It supports seated and standing play and is played with Touch controllers. Posing as a statue means holding still in real life, so leave a little room to move your arms.
