Horror Nights is a co-op horror adventure from Fun Cradle set in a mysterious shopping mall. It is designed for two players online with live voice chat, which gives it a social hangout side as well. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on December 28, 2023.
How it plays
You take on the role of a security guard working the night shift at the mall. With a partner, you explore the building, work through tricky puzzles together and gradually uncover what is really going on there.
- Co-op: team up with one friend to solve puzzles.
- Role play: play as a night shift mall guard.
- Voice chat: talk to your partner in real time.
- Physics: objects react and collide in a lifelike way.
- Mysteries: piece together the secrets of the mall.
The developer also runs a Discord server for players.
Multiplayer
The game is built for two-player online co-op, and the store lists multiplayer, co-op and single-user modes. Talking through puzzles over voice chat is a core part of the experience, and an internet connection is required.
Comfort
Meta rates Horror Nights as comfortable for most people. You can play sitting, standing or in room-scale with controllers.
