Galactic Bar Fight is a fast arena combat game that mixes melee action with shooter play, made by Weird Kid Studios. It starts in Pegasus, a bar for interstellar travelers in the far future, and then sends you on a tour of other locations across the galaxy. It has been on the Meta Horizon Store since March 12, 2021.
How it plays
The Pegasus bar works as your hub. There you can wreck training droids, practice your aim on holograms and watch hologram performers on stage. The game has more than 340 challenges to complete, some in the hub and others handed to you at random during combat.
In the bar arenas, the goal is to take enemies out in creative ways. You get 13 different weapons, from blasters to tools that let you cut, crush, deflect, dissolve, burn and split your opponents, and power-ups can swing a fight your way.
The developer invites feedback and says the feature set is being expanded with ideas from the community.
Comfort
Meta has not given Galactic Bar Fight a comfort rating. It is listed for room-scale play only, with controllers, so you will want a clear space to move and swing in.
