Dead Effect 2 is a sci-fi shooter and action and adventure game from AppHoldings and part of the Dead Effect series. It combines first-person shooting with a story and role-playing progression, set aboard a ship overrun by hostile creatures. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on June 8, 2021.
How it plays
Your hero gets better the more you play, and much of the game is about choosing the right gear. The ship holds a few allies, but they are heavily outnumbered by enemies such as zombies, soldiers, cyborgs, mutants, cannibals, mechanical dogs and drones.
- More than 30 upgradable weapons, from pistols, shotguns and plasma guns to bows and swords.
- Over 100 gear items and implants, with dozens of gear sets ranging from Regular to Mythical.
- Complete gear sets that unlock special abilities.

It is a single-player campaign and does not need an internet connection.
