Contractors, also called Contractors VR, is a fast tactical shooter and action game from Caveman Game Studio, focused on multiplayer firefights. It arrived on the Meta Horizon Store on December 3, 2020.
How it plays
The game offers a broad mix of modes and gear:
- More than 30 weapons and fully customizable loadouts
- WWII and ninja-themed loadouts
- Casual and competitive modes
- Offline and online co-op missions
- A 4-player zombie survival mode
- A target practice hub to warm up
- A large library of community-made content
A recent update raised player limits in the Ground War and Rush modes and added vehicle parts to the modkit, giving community creators more to work with. With this many modes, Contractors works both as a quick casual shooter and as a more serious competitive team game.
Multiplayer
Ground War battles support 16 players. Cross-play connects Quest and Rift players, and the social features also work across platforms. Co-op missions can be played online with others or offline.
Comfort
Meta gives it a moderate comfort rating. Contractors supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers.
