Black Hole Pool is a pool and billiards game from Pixel Works that blends sports, simulation and strategy. The focus is on realistic ball physics and several different ways to play. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on March 15, 2021.
How it plays
- Hustle Bar: a social room where players from around the world meet to play for virtual stakes and earn coins for accessories
- Ranked Room: matches against randomly paired opponents for ELO points and a spot on the leaderboard
- VIP Room: an invite-only space for you and your friends, with a large TV for watching videos together
- Private Room: practice alone or face an AI opponent while a movie plays
Playing earns experience points that unlock cues, ball sets and table felts, so you can change the look of your game over time.
Multiplayer
Most modes are social. The Hustle Bar and Ranked Room pair you with other players online, and the VIP Room is for people you invite. An internet connection is required.
Comfort
It supports seated and standing play and is played with controllers. Pool keeps you at the table, so a small play space is enough.
