A gaming and XR accessory brand founded in 2017 that makes Made for Meta backpacks, stands and head straps for Meta Quest, plus link cables, cases and keyboards.
About Syntech
Syntech is a consumer accessory brand that sells online through its own store at syntechhome.com. According to the company, founder Edward Zhang started it in 2017 while he was a student at UC Berkeley, after struggling to find gaming accessories that felt well made. Its 2025 Made for Meta launch was announced from Shenzhen, China. Today Syntech sells keyboards, travel chargers and adapters, hubs and cables, and carrying cases for handheld consoles such as the Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch and ROG Ally.
Products
Syntech does not make headsets. Its VR and MR line includes head straps, battery head straps, link cables, controller grip covers, hard carrying cases and accessories for Apple Vision Pro. In June 2025 it launched four Made for Meta certified accessories: the XR Headset Backpack, the MR Walnut Stand, a Head Strap with Battery Pack for Quest 3/3S and a Head Strap for Quest 3/3S. The Meta store sells the XR Headset Backpack at $99.99 and the MR Walnut Stand at $64.99, and lists both for Quest 3S, Quest 3, Quest Pro and Quest 2. The backpack holds a headset and a laptop of up to 16 inches, and the stand is made of natural walnut.
