AWE Asia 2027
AWE Asia 2027, the Asian edition of the Augmented World Expo XR and AI conference, runs July 14 to 16, 2027 in Shanghai. It opens a five-day week that ends with Linkloud's ScaleX on July 17 and 18.

AWE Asia is the Asian edition of AWE (Augmented World Expo), which calls itself the world's leading XR and AI community. After editions in Singapore, AWE Asia 2027 moves to Shanghai, China, from July 14 to 16, 2027. AWE is partnering with Linkloud, a Chinese community for globally minded AI and SaaS founders. AWE Asia opens a five-day week that continues with Linkloud's ScaleX on July 17 and 18. The official site gives the city and dates but does not name a venue yet.
AWE Asia focuses on XR, spatial AI and physical AI. The organisers expect more than 2,500 XR and AI professionals, over 80 exhibitors and more than 120 speakers. The official programme includes:
- Nine content tracks, including XR Enablement (displays and optics, SLAM, eye tracking, haptics, WebXR), Developer, Platforms & AI, Enterprise & Industrial, and Gaming, Entertainment & Media
- A call for speakers on XR hardware and interfaces, spatial AI and physical AI
- An expo with a floor plan open for booth bookings, plus the Auggie Awards
- A start-up pitch competition and investor track
The event is aimed at XR and AI developers, hardware makers, enterprises and investors. Regular tickets cover all stages, the expo and the event app. VIP tickets add receptions and meeting rooms. Tickets are sold through aweasia.com.
