The Obsessive Shadow is a short survival horror game in the action and adventure genre, developed by Pablo Heckman and published by PMH Interactive. It is set in an American suburb in 1986, where you play Liam Robertson, a nine-year-old whose evening in front of the TV ends in a sudden blackout. It arrived on the Meta Horizon Store on March 19, 2025.
How it plays
Your mother has vanished, and a strange phone call becomes your only lifeline. A familiar voice on the line gives you instructions, and your only tool is a flashlight. You have to rely on what you see and hear to keep whatever is hunting you away.
Each hour that passes changes the rules you need to follow, and the instructions grow stranger as the night goes on, so you cannot simply repeat what worked before.
