Mythic Mage

Mythic Mage is a roguelike dungeon crawler and action-adventure game from Andreas Grütter. You play a powerful mage who explores dungeons, battles frightening monsters and hunts for long-lost treasure. It came out on the Meta Horizon Store on March 22, 2021.

How it plays

Each dungeon is built from procedurally generated levels, so the layout changes from run to run. You fight monsters with melee or ranged attacks, take on giant bosses and raise your stats between floors. Death is permanent within a run: if you fall, you go back to the very beginning.

Progress carries over in another way. The deeper you get, the more permanent upgrades you unlock, along with new kinds of enemies. The goal is simple: see how far down you can get before you die.
