Ghosts of Tabor is a hardcore PvPvE extraction shooter for Meta Quest where you scavenge, craft and fight players and AI to escape a raid with your gear.
Ghosts of Tabor is a hardcore extraction shooter with survival and action elements from Combat Waffle Studios, published by Beyond Frames Entertainment. It mixes player-versus-player and player-versus-AI combat, and you need wits, skill and careful use of resources to make it out alive. It launched on the Meta Horizon Store on February 8, 2024.
How it plays
Each raid sends you into a map to scavenge loot such as weapons, attachments, ammo, armor, medical supplies, food and water. To keep what you find, you must reach an extraction point while avoiding or fighting both other players and armed AI. Survival systems track your health, hunger and thirst, so you need to eat and treat wounds to keep going.
- Maps suited to exploring, looting, close firefights or long-range sniping.
- Trading with AI vendors and with other players.
- Weapon customization, item crafting and ammo crafting in different types and sizes.
- Guns from handguns to assault rifles, displayed in your own armory.
- Vendor missions that unlock special items, and a marketplace to buy gear between raids.
Multiplayer
Ghosts of Tabor is online only. You can squad up with friends or go in alone, and play loud or sneak around as a lone wolf. An internet connection is required.
Comfort
Meta rates Ghosts of Tabor as intense. It supports sitting, standing and room-scale play with controllers. If you are sensitive to motion sickness in VR, start with short sessions.
