Cooking Clash is a restaurant simulation game from Tyche, published by Tyche Mobile. You are both head chef and owner, cooking for a lively crowd of human and animal customers. It was released on the Meta Horizon Store on December 18, 2024.
How it plays
There are no fixed recipes to stick to. You combine ingredients freely to build dishes that match what each customer wants, and satisfied diners leave tips. Presentation counts as well as taste, since good-looking plates raise your restaurant's reputation.
- Free-form cooking with a large set of ingredients
- Human and animal customers with their own tastes
- Tips as a reward for meals that hit the mark
- Sneaky guests who try to steal tips left unattended
Keeping an eye on the room is part of the job, because some customers will swipe your money if you look away. The developer adds that a gun is hidden in a drawer for dealing with them when needed.
Comfort
Meta rates it comfortable for most people. You can play standing or room-scale, with controllers. You will spend much of your time turning between the stove, counter and dining area.
