Bullet Roulette VR is a casual strategy game from Fibrum that mixes Russian roulette with a card game. The listing summary places it in a wild west setting, and matches take place in a secret old bar. It is distributed through SideQuest, where it was first listed in September 2020.
How it plays
Four players sit around the table, and each is randomly given one of six characters. On your turn you draw two cards before you pull the trigger. Cards can rewrite the rules of the game, which is where most of the tactics and surprises come from.
Money drives every round:
- Survive your turn and you earn $1.
- That dollar lets you shoot at another player on your next turn.
- Kill another player and you take their money.
- Fail an attempt on another player and you lose all your money.
The bar also has three non-player characters you can interact with, including a pianist. The listing jokes that the piano music is irritating enough to give you a reason to shoot him.
Multiplayer
The game is built for four players. You can also play against AI opponents, and each AI has its own behavior, so you can fill a table without other people.
