Apocalypse 101 with Bob is a free zombie wave shooter in which you train at Bob's facility through five increasingly difficult survival courses.
Apocalypse 101 with Bob is an arcade survival shooter from Heydeck Games (Andreas Heydeck), set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies. It is distributed through SideQuest, where it was first listed in October 2020.
How it plays
Bob runs a training facility for people who are not ready for the zombie apocalypse. If you are scared of walkers, shaky with firearms or nervous about dying, his program is meant to fix that. You are exposed to walkers a little at a time and learn how to put them down, including how to handle attacks coming from every direction.
The training is split into five courses, each harder than the last. The tongue-in-cheek pitch is that if you graduate from all five, you will make it in the wild, or Bob gives you your money back. The game is a first-person shooter built around waves of zombies, and its horror and Halloween tags reflect the undead theme.
Bob acts as your guide throughout, handing out advice to help the unprepared get through their first days and weeks of the outbreak.
