Haymaker

Haymaker is an action game from Console Studios, published by GTDevice LLC. It is a close-quarters brawler where punches, grabs and grapples all run on physics, and every fighter reacts to hits as an active ragdoll. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on November 6, 2025, as an early access title.

How it plays

Haymaker is a combat sandbox rather than a story campaign, and the developer frames it as a simulation of real body mechanics. Blocks, strikes and grabs follow how a body actually moves, and you can throw kicks and knees with gestures to push enemies back, interrupt them or handle several at once. Warning indicators show when an enemy is about to attack, giving you a moment to block, dodge or counter.

Objects lying around can become weapons, or you can spawn proper melee weapons. Swings and throws use the same physics as your fists, so momentum and position matter.

Meta gives Haymaker a moderate comfort rating. It is played standing and room-scale with controllers. Fights are physical and fast, so clear your space before you start swinging.
