Escape The Basement is a short puzzle game from Vikdan Games. It is a compact escape room: you are locked in a basement and have to work your way out. It is distributed through SideQuest, where it was first listed in April 2021.
How it plays
The challenge is set against the clock. You search the room, solve its puzzles, and try to get out before 15 minutes run out. The developer frames that time limit as the target to beat, so the game works as a quick test of how fast you can read a room and connect clues.
The listing does not describe the individual puzzles or offer a story, and the name makes clear this is a mini escape room rather than a multi-room adventure.
