Let's Create! Pottery VR is a creative pottery app with a learning angle, developed by Infinite Dreams sp. z o.o. and published by Infinite Dreams. It walks you through every stage of making ceramics, from raw clay to a decorated finished piece, at a relaxed pace. It came to the Meta Horizon Store on April 30, 2020.
What you can do
- Pick a clay color and shape it on a potter's wheel with your hands.
- Add extra elements, then fire the piece.
- Paint it using your own color choices or preset palettes, following classic art patterns or your own designs.
- Take on tasks and special orders, or simply make whatever you like.
- Build themed ceramic collections sorted by style, pattern and skill level.
The developer pitches it as a way to express yourself and relax rather than as a challenge, though the orders give you goals if you want them. It is a good pick for players who like slow, hands-on crafting.
Comfort
Meta rates Let's Create! Pottery VR as comfortable for most people. It is played in seated mode only, and you can use Touch controllers. You work at the wheel, so there is no need for a large play area.
